Just before departure for a two-week training camp in Turkish resort of Antalya, new boss Srdjan Blagojevic told us what he expects from his charges.
“Time is scarce so we started with concrete work straight away. We also had a number of meetings with players and coaching staff to set clear team culture and how we are going to operate on and off the pitch. I expect good pitch surfaces in Antalya and I also hope for a good weather conditions, so we can try and set the team for the season`s restart. Lots of Partizan youngsters have joined us for Antalya training camp and I also expect number of departures and arrivals during the winter transfer window. We have two weeks to work on all the details and as we haven`t enough time, we`ll have to add a gear but I expect us to get full training camp results”, said Srdjan Blagojevic.
There was not much time for players to rest during the winter break as well but midfielder Mateja Stjepanovic underlines it was good enough.
“We had ten days off but we received a clear fitness guide we needed to abide to. We already had two training sessions in our training centre. It all looked good and we depart for Antalya motivated. It`s on us youngsters to show what we are capable of and prove ourselves to the new boss”, said Mateja Stjepanovic.
