Partizan defender and Bosnian international Nihad Mujakic attended latest edition of Partizan Interview. He is achieving excellent results with his teammates as Partizan has no single defeat this year and Mujakic underlines everything needs time.
“You need time for everything, winter preps friendlies were very important for us to get to know boss Blagojevic and his demands. We won three games in a row now and this is the path Partizan as a club should take. You could say we are a strange team that never gives up, we battle and work for each other, aware of our abilities. Boss gave us new confidence and we have faith in ourselves”, said 26-year-old.
During his career, Mujakic played against many top players and he singled out Dusan Tadic and Edin Dzeko.
“While in Turkey, I had opportunity to play against Tadic and Dzeko. Alongside Modric, they are the two players with greatest experience among players from Balkans. It was unforgettable playing against such players and I had opportunity to learn a lot. Edin Dzeko is a world-class player with unbelievable moves. It`s almost impossible to mark him, especially as Tadic can send him pinpoint pass at any moment. You have to think about two of them and how to stop them all day”.
Although he`s only 26 years old, Mujakic already played for three greats of Balkan football – Sarajevo, Hajduk Split and Partizan. He told us about huge pressure surrounding such renowned clubs.
“There`s always pressure at Partizan. The badge and club itself impose pressure on you as you have to be the best, to win trophies and go far in European competitions. I believe the worst is behind us, happy days are ahead of us and I hope we`ll have something to celebrate by the end of the season”, said Nihad Mujakic.
