Former Partizan forward and assistant manager Andrija Delibasic passed away at the age of 43.
Andrija, you fought like a lion. You didn`t allow illness to disrupt you, engaging in an unbalanced match against much stronger opponent, you never gave up. You were always a fighter, believing in yourself, your dedication, support of the family and friends.
You showed lots of guts and won, that first time.
Unfortunately, illness returned, stronger and more insidious. This time, you were unable to overcome it and we are so sad to accept you are gone, that you will never enter the gates of Partizan Stadium again, to visit your club where you`ve grown up as a player to make 100 appearances and score 48 goals.
Your bright spirit, positive energy and massive heart will be forever embedded in our memory as well as all those good moments we lived together.
We will remember wins, Champions League goals and all those others, as all those matches were equally important to you – the matches you played in and did your best to win. Or those you watched from the stands, supporting the club you love as you were on the field yourself.
Andrija, Rest In Peace and May Angels Guard You!
