TEAM NEWS
Aleksandar Scekic, Mihajlo Ilic and Ibrahim Zubairu are all serving one-game suspension. Goh picked up ankle injury early in a recent CSKA friendly.
Partizan boss Srdjan Blagojevic ahead of TSC double bill:
-We had two-week international break and trained short of nine internationals. They all played their roles in national teams and returned fit and healthy so all of them will be in contention for tomorrow`s encounter and midweek cup game. But, with number of players out due to a suspension, we need to find suitable solutions for tomorrow`s match. I hope available players will respond adequately and fill in the boots of absentees.
It`s challenging playing the same opponent twice in a row. it will be hard to control things on the pitch twice in the space of five days and we will need some tactical changes, reaction from the players and be able to adapt to the opponent. Both teams will need to make changes to adapt to these two games and you will be able to use experience from the first encounter in place and do something out of ordinary, I had such situations in my career and we`ll try to respond in an adequate manner.
It was interesting to watch TSC playing in European competitions. Their previous manager Damjanovic was more of a possession and positioning man while Matic is more about intensity. Looking at the standings, this game is of more importance to TSC as they battle for play-off with quite uncomfortable games for them to play. Therefore, I expect an open and interesting encounter. We have to try our best to impose on the game itself and I will demand fully focused approach, as I always do.
