Beograd, November 24

Partizan managed only a goalless draw home to Napredak, a second consecutive league stalemate for our team.

Kovac and Nikolic made it to the starting line-up in absence of injured Zahid and Djordje Jovanovic who are set for a long spell on the sidelines.

First half was a rather dull encounter with only 8 fouls in total and no corner-kicks each way whatsoever. On 18, Napredak was first to threat – Karaklajic made a fine run and  took a tricky 14m low shot for alerted keeper Jovanovic to make a first save of the day.

Partizan replied two minutes later but a goal from Nikolic was disallowed due to a clear offside position from Partizan forward.

Arriaga needed medical treatment on 25 after a head collision with Krstic. Honduran international was able to continue.

Partizan had the best opportunity of the first half on 28, shot from Kalulu was met by a touch from Zubairu and the ball finished over the bar. There was also a VAR check on possible foul in the box but the play soon continued.

Lively Kalulu sent a pinpoint cross on 35 for Nikolic to head the ball over the bar.

On 38, Napredak`s Ignjatovic received first caution of the game after a careless tackle.

Kalulu was in action again but his excellent right-side break into the box was not met by his teammates and the ball finished in the hands of the visiting keeper eventually.

Just after the restart, Ilic needed medical treatment after collision with Napredak keeper. He was soon back in action.

On 50, Napredak keeper made a comfortable from Zubairu`s long range attempt.

Partizan pushed forward in the second half but it only created more space for visitors who had a number of opportunities in the second half, three of them were saved by keeper Jovanovic while Napredak had few more promising shots wide.

On the other side, Natcho tried to create something with his trademark through balls but Zubairu and Natcho failed to seize on it.

Ilic sent a long range shot wide on the hour while boss Milosevic made his first sub of the game introducing 18-year forward Dusan Jovanovic for Nikolic.

Natcho was booked for his protests on 81 while Milosevic made two more subs on 81 – Grimaldo and Scekic coming in for Kalulu and Kovac.

Ignjatovic made another careless tackle to be sent-off for his second caution on 89.

Nervous Partizan team pressed the opposition but number of crosses and long balls into the box amounted to nothing and it remained goalless after 5 mins of stoppage time.
