Partizan boss Srdjan Blagojevic addressed the media reps upon arrival to Turkey training camp. Journalists were mostly interested in working conditions.
“We arrived here to nice weather, 19 degrees Celsius, and the training pitch is excellent. We have everything needed to have a good training process and we have no doubts about it. We are entering standard training procedure – there will be one or two training sessions a day, we will play friendlies too and player will have time to relax as well. Our greatest challenge is to conduct everything how we want it to be. Every minute, any given space must be used for our advantage”, said Blagojevic.
How much time did you have to analyze the team you took over and what are your conclusions?
“We had enough time to analyze team`s performances over the first part of the season. We have a clear vision on how it looked like and a clear vision what good things should we keep in our play and what bad things we need to change and correct in our opinion. We had a meeting with players yesterday and we presented them with those things we are mentioning now. We made a diagnosis of the current state and started working on corrections. I expect us to advance with time although time is scarce. Players are not going to sit and wait forever for you to change things around and the restart of the season is not going to be postponed in your favour. We are expected to have results so we`ll try to be very productive to meet the expectations”.
So far, Milan Vukotic is the only winter signing. Do you expect any more newcomers?
“We talk to club management, Danko Lazovic and Predrag Mijatovic mostly, on a daily basis. Of course, it all about finances and possible departures to give us options to act on a transfer market. We are working on it, things are moving gradually and we are getting ready to react. Anything can happen regarding departures, things change daily or even by the hour when it comes to transfer window and I`m sure there`ll be more arrivals and departures. We`ll do everything in our powers to be more compact and stronger team after the winter break”, said Srdjan Blagojevic.
