Final tactical preps ahead of Debrecen friendly

Partizan is playing first friendly of winter mid-season preps tomorrow; locking horns with Hungarians Debrecen (3pm kick-off). Coming into the winter break, Debrecen holds 11th position in Hungarian top-tier and they already played one friendly in Turkey – a 2-1 defeat in the hands of UTA Arad five days ago.

Today`s training session was dedicated to tactical bits ahead of tomorrow`s friendly. Before entering training pitch, players worked on strength development, something new boss Srdjan Blagojevic implemented upon his arrival. Actually, studies show strength training is the best way of activation day before the game. Second part of the session was reserved for tactical details and overall preparation for challenges ahead.

Before the training session, coaching staff and players gave birthday greetings to midfielder Stefan Kovac who turned 26 today. After birthday greetings and presents, Kovac addressed his teammates, underlining his greatest birthday wish is for Partizan to achieve set targets this season.

Training session was observed by Danko Lazovic, FK Partizan Task Force Group member in charge of sporting matters, who arrived to Turkey today to give his support to the team. All thoughts are turned to tomorrow` s friendly now – the opportunity to assess current level of form and fitness of the players.
