Beograd, March 29
Partizan remains unbeaten under the coach Srdjan Blagojevic although our boys managed only a goalless draw home to TSC. Boss Blagojevic had to do without suspended Ilic, Scekic and Zubairu, so Filipovic moved to central-defence, youngster Dragojevic deputized for Scekic while Vukotic moved to the left flank in the absence of Zubairu. Roganovic was back among the starters as well as Jurcevic who recovered from his short term injury.
TSC is battling to win play-off spot so it was visitors who showed more attacking intentions early on with Todoroski and Pantovic sending shots wide early in the game. Dragojevic replied on 8 with a long range drive over the bar.
Classy build-up from Vukotic and Natcho on 19 created space for unmarked Kovac inside the box but his shot was met by a brave defensive block.
Vukotic sent the ball well wide on 36 while Todoroski missed a sitter three mins later followed by another attempt from the same player dangerously close by the right post before the half-time whistle.
Nikolic failed to control the ball in a promising Partizan counter-attack five mins into the second half while Vukotic sent another ball wide on 53.
First shot on target of the game occurred on 56 – Natcho`s measured edge-of-the-box drive was met by an equally good save from TSC keeper.
Boss Blagojevic made first changes on the hour – Milosevic and Trifunovic coming in for Vukotic and Nikolic.
Youngster Dragojevic sent another long range shot over the bar on 63 while Kovac had the best Partizan opportunity on 76 but his close range effort was saved by the keeper.
Couple of minutes later, TSC had two great opportunities in a row, both close range headers wide.
Kalulu blasted the ball over the bar with his edge-of-the-box shot on 86 followed by a close range attempt wide on 90 although it seemed Trifunovic was offside in the build-up.
Over the three mins of added time, visitors sent their only shot on target but it was too weak to trouble Partizan keeper Jovanovic.
Partizan and TSC will meet at the same spot on Wednesday, for a one-legged Serbian quarter-final tie.
