Partizan signed 18-year-old winger Pape Fuhrer from Olympique Lyon.
Pape is a winger able to cover central attacking positions too. Lately, he was mostly playing for Lyon B.
He picked shirt number 27 and we spoke to young winger upon signing.
“As a player, I bring lots of energy onto the field. I am all about hard work, I have pace and can create opportunities for my teammates. I like to take part in both attack and defence, doing my best for the team. I want to tell my teammates I`ll be working hard and battling for Partizan to be successful”, said Pape Fuhrer.
Eternal Belgrade derby is just a week away. What so you know about it?
“It`s an honour for me to be part of the Partizan history. Of course, I know about Eternal derby as one of the biggest football rivalries in Europe. Derby passion and support are incredible and I cannot wait to be part of it”.
What`s your message to the fans?
“My desire is to make you proud every time I get onto the field. I`m ready to do my best for the club, to work hard for us to achieve great success. I`m grateful to be accepted here and I cannot wait to feel your support and strength on the stadium. Together we can achieve greatest success”.
