An extensive study conducted by the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, covering 55 national leagues worldwide, revealed that players aged 21 and under receive the most playing time in the Mozzart Bet Serbian Superliga.
According to the findings, players eligible for the U21 national team make up 26.9% of all footballers in Serbia’s top division — the highest rate among the surveyed leagues.
At FK Partizan, we take particular pride in the fact that our club tops this list, giving young footballers more minutes on the pitch than any other team in the Superliga.
Official statistics show that players under 21 in coach Srdjan Blagojevic’s squad spend an average of 489.5 minutes per match, almost double the amount of the next club on the list — IMT, with 285.45 minutes.
These numbers confirm that the strategic decision by Partizan’s management to rely on players from our own academy this season has proven to be both correct and visionary.
This approach benefits not only our club but also Serbian football as a whole, by giving young talents the platform to grow, develop, and become the key players of the future.
FK Partizan will continue to be a symbol of nurturing and developing young footballers, because faith in youth is part of our identity and a tradition that has lasted for eight decades.
