Youngster Nemanja Trifunovic attended latest edition of Partizan Podcast. 19-year old winger made two sub appearances this season already, coming in away to Vojvodina and in Conference League home to Norsjaelland. He revealed how he arrived to Partizan in a first place.
“I was called by Sasa Ilic who was Serbian youth coach at the time. It was huge for me – it was Sasa Ilic, national team coach, Partizan legend, you just can`t turn away from such offer”, said Trifunovic.
Young winger also praised current Partizan boss, Igor Duljaj.
“First of all, he is so dedicated to his job and he helps young players adapt and advance a lot. Basically, he played highest level football game and he wants to transfer all his knowledge onto us. Duljaj demands discipline, hard work and commitment from us in every training session”.
Trifunovic sees Partizan European exit as an opportunity rather than a tragedy.
“Everything happens for a reason. I believe we`ll be more fresh and there`ll be much more time for us to focus on domestic league. That`s very important to us as we all believe and truly want to return the title trophy to our cabinet, where it belongs”, said Nemanja Trifunovic.
