Partizan played an entertaining 2-2 draw at home to Radnicki 1923 in a final game of SSL 2023-24 season.
Partizan granted early leave to Zahid, Kalulu and Saldanha with Nikolic, Goh and Bazdar making it to the starting line-up as a result. Filipovic and Sanicanin were paired at the centre-back positions.
Partizan had two early opportunities – Bazdar sent the ball over the bar with his lob attempt while Goh lost one-on-one with the well-stretched Radnicki goalkeeper.
Our team was punished for the early missed on 6 after a fine run from Aleksic, assist into the 6-yard box from Bevis and tap-in from Vidosavljevic. Partizan 0, Radnicki 1.
To make things worse, Goh soon had to leave the field due to an injury, making way for Jankovic.
Vidosavljevic sent the ball over the bar with his long range effort on 11 and Owusu replied on 23 with a low shot wide off the left post, Partizan definitely lacking the final pass in the first half.
Jovanovic made two excellent saved on 26 and 28 while Jankovic prompted diving save from Lekovic on 31.
Same player sent the ball into the no-man`s land on 43 instead of taking a close range shot maybe.
Partizan boss Nadj introduced Kovacevic for Filipovic at half-time.
Jankovic, liveliest of the bunch, made a fine solo run on 47 but Nikolic failed to seize on his cross into the 6-yard box.
Vidosavljevic hit the outside netting with his angled shot on 48 while Jovanovic made another great save on 51.
Sanicanin made a decisive defensive block on 53 and Partizan scored a goal minute later but it was disallowed due to an obvious offside position of a goalscorer Nikolic.
Jovanovic made a couple more saves on 56 and 58 but these were quite comfortable ones for a change.
Radnicki continue to threat and well-positioned Jovanovic made another save on 63 while Aleksic sent a header over the bar on 66.
Severina had a clear-cut opportunity on 66 but his close range effort was saved by the keeper. It was a great build-up though.
Radnicki doubled the lead on 70 with a neat 20m drive into the far corner of the net from Aleksic. Partizan 0, Radnicki 2.
Youngsters Roganovic and Trifunovic came in for Stojkovic and Severina on 74. This was Partizan debut for 18-year-old right-back Roganovic.
Super lively Jankovic created havoc in Radnicki defence on 76 and sent a return ball for Nikolic who hit the net with his heart-of-the-box neat effort. Partizan 1, Radnicki 2.
Bazdar had a fine opportunity on 78 but his angled shot or pass attempt find no way to the net.
Young sub Trifunovic scored a beauty on 83 after a brilliant looping pass from Natcho. 19-year-old winger scored his first Partizan goal hitting the top left corner of the net. Partizan 2, Radnicki 2.
Radnicki had two more opportunities before stoppage time – Ristic send a blast wide on 88 while Jovanovic saved close range attempt from Aleksic on 90.
Trifunovic sent a shot wide of the far post with his stoppage time effort to leave at two-all at final whistle.
