With a victory over Vojvodina, Partizan concluded this season’s Mozzart Bet Serbian SuperLiga in second place, securing a spot in the Europa League qualifiers – 3:2 (2:0).
Bibars Natho was the key man in the final match, scoring twice – first opening the scoring in the 13th minute, followed by a goal from Milan Vukotic in the 27th. Natho struck again in the 71st minute to seal his brace.
Vojvodina came into the game highly motivated, aiming for at least a draw to secure European qualification. However, they were up against a better team this Sunday evening. Partizan’s players showed true professionalism, staying focused during crucial moments and, despite a few dips in form, rightfully claimed the final three points of the season.
Coach Srdjan Blagojevic had plenty of reasons to be pleased – above all, the attitude of his players, who gave their best despite having no competitive stakes left. The first half saw two fine goals and dominant play, and although Partizan could’ve extended their lead further, the visiting goalkeeper made several outstanding saves that kept Vojvodina in contention until the end.
Such commitment did not go unnoticed by the fans, who applauded the team as they headed into the summer break and provided constant support throughout the full 90 minutes.
