Winter newcomer Milan Vukotic attended latest edition of Partizan Interview. 22-year-old signing from Buducnost Podgorica was voted best player of the Montenegrin top-tier recently and now he is in a club where his surname evokes great memories of a legendary 70s Partizan star Momcilo Vukotic.
“I like to pass the ball around, to score and assist – everything that goes with attacking play. Team and coaching staff welcomed me in a best possible way. Everything is positive and I want it to stay that way. Training pitches here in Turkey are really good and everything moves in a right direction so far. Training sessions are brilliant; everything I try works well for me. I`m also getting used to demands of the coaching staff. It can be hard at times but everything goes in a right direction”, said Vukotic.
Young Montenegrin also revealed how Predrag Mijatovic invited him to Partizan, convincing him Partizan would be the best choice.
“It was really out of the blue. Buducnost played against Petrovac and after the game I was in a club bus listening to some music. My phone rang at some point and I noticed it was a Spanish number. I didn`t know what to think but I answered the phone and when Mijatovic introduced himself, everything was clear to me. He advised me how I can advance as a person and as a player and after that I made it clear to myself my only desire is to play for Partizan”.
Vukotic also revealed what his desires in black-and-white shirt are.
“Double, of course. Always as many goals and assists possible. That`s what motivates and boosts me to move forward fully focused”, said Milan Vukotic.
