Partizan beat Bulgarian top-tier side Hebar 1918 1-0 in a third friendly of Antalya winter training camp. New boss Srdjan Blagojevic decided to mix his deck and present Partizan youngsters with a playing opportunity while they proved club can count on them in the future.
Our boys scored the only goal of the match in the dying seconds of the first half, with Dusan Jovanovic scoring on a rebound after initial shot from Alilovic was poorly saved by Hebar keeper, for Partizan to achieve first win of Antalya preps after 1-1 draw against Debrecen and 2-2 draw against Dukla Prague.
Besides Jovanovic`s goal, Partizan could have scored a few more but this was good enough for such type of a friendly game. It was a good running test for the team, youngsters showed how capable they are and Partizan coaching staff was able to see how much they advanced during those two-week preps individually.
Number of players didn`t even play on their natural positions so the oscillations during the match were quite understandable. Most importantly, no one picked up an injury which clearly pleased boss Blagojevic.
Partizan line-up:
Stevanovic ( Krunic HT), Stjepanovic, Simic, de Medina, Petrovic, Alilovic (Trifunovic 71), Ugresic, Goh (Jankovic 71), Vukotic, Grimaldo, D Jovanovic.
Partizan will play final of Antalya winter camp tomorrow (3pm kick-off) against Polish side Jagiellonia with line-up expected to consist of players who didn`t make an appearance today.
