Loznica, March 2
Partizan beat Tekstilac 4-1 away for a second league win in a row and remains comfortably second-placed at the SSL standings.
Boss Blagojevic made two starting line-up changes from midweek`s league game – Simic was back in the starting eleven for Ilic who was rested for this one while Vukotic was in for Natcho at the playmaker`s position.
Partizan had two early long range opportunities – Kovac send a long range shot over the bar on 2 while Nikolic tried to trick the keeper with his long range drive on 5 and made him make a poor save for a Partizan corner-kick.
On 7, Tekstilac replied with an angled drive inside the box wide from Stojanovic.
Vukotic send the ball over the bar for Partizan on 10 while Roganovic made a fine block minute later to prevent Stojanovic from threatening Partizan net.
After a quiet 20 minutes, Partizan won a penalty-kick after a handball offence inside the box. Nikolic scored from the spot for a Partizan 1-0 lead on 32.
Two minutes later, another handball offence inside the box meant it`s another penalty-kick for Partizan. This time, it was Zubairu who scored from the spot for a Partizan 2-0 lead on 36. It was ninth goal of the season for the Ghanian winger.
On 41, Partizan keeper Jovanovic had to tap the ball over the bar after uncomfortable edge-of-the-box shot and a rebound while Vukotic sent another ball wide in first half stoppage-time.
Straight after the break, Zubairu sent an angled, measured shot wide and it remained quiet until the hour mark when home side managed to score against Partizan`s sleepy defence. Tekstilac 1, Partizan 2.
Partizan added a gear and scored few minutes later after initial shot from Vukotic got saved by the keeper with Nikolic scoring on a rebound from a difficult angled position. It was ninth goal of the season for Nikolic, fourth in last three outings. It took few minutes though for goal to be confirmed due to a possible offside position of Vukotic but VAR check left it at Tekstilac 1, Partizan 3.
Boss Blagojevic made three changes after Partizan`s third – in came Goh, Ilic and Djordje Jovanovic for Kalulu, Simic and Nikolic, while Natcho came in for Zubairu on 76.
Tekstilac had a couple of shots wide on 69 and 72 but it was Partizan who scored on 82 after an inviting cross from Vukotic, good reaction from Goh who left the ball for Natcho on the far post to sent the ball into the net. Tekstilac 1, Partizan 4.
On 85, youngster Alilovic came in for Kovac to make another cameo appearance while Tekstilac had a couple more opportunities before final whistle but it was to be Tekstilac 1, Partizan 4 final score.
