He also told us who was his role model during his youth days at Partizan.
“I remember when we signing Partizan contracts three or four years ago, I was asked who was my favourite player and I said it was Zdjelar. I like his style of play, he was team captain, aggressive player and full Partizan die-hard. During that time, I was ballboy behind the goal and I constantly watched his movements on the field I`m glad people compare me with one such great player”.
Dragoejvic also revealed how much support from senior players mean to him, especially support from skipper Aleksandar Jovanovic.
“I remember watching Aca Jovanovic playing year ago and thinking what a gentleman he is. In my wildest dreams I didn`t expect to be next to him on the field one day. First of all, he`s a really good person and we all know how good he is between the posts. It means a lot to me to have such players behind me in defence, knowing they`ll watch my back. Aca came up to me before my debut kick-off and gave me some advice. I felt tension as it was a big deal for me being at Partizan from the early days. His advice helped me a lot and I thank him for it”, said Vanja Dragojevic.
