Partizan boss Srdjan Blagojevic ahead of tomorrow`s encounter:
“Obviously, it`s going to be another tough game, as all of them are and will be. Due to position on the standings and the history of meetings between the two clubs, this is clearly a derby game, the most interesting encounter of this round. We lost to OFK away this season and I expect another tight game. Early kick-off is good, as it`s going to be much colder tomorrow as the day progresses – we had that against Spartak and Vojvodina.
OFK is a high quality team with players who have lots of domestic and international experience. They lost previous two league matches but it means nothing to us – they will be motivated as OFK battles to win European spot for the next season, they want to be as close to the top as possible.
We`ve drawn last two and we expected better outcomes, especially against Spartak but I cannot say boys did not put an effort. We are working on our flaws and we are aware of them as much as we are aware of our qualities. We`ll do everything in our powers to move things forward. We scanned OFK and we want a positive outcome tomorrow.
I don`t expect new signings but if we do get someone we`ll be pleased with it. But, our starting point is that no one else is going to sign late in this transfer window. I believe we can achieve our goals this season. However, we are always focused on our next step solely, it`s about next training sessions and next game, that`s the only way we can get certain results. We`ll try to everything possible to play in European competitions next season, to promote youngsters and to stabilize club`s situation.
