Partizan Podcast presented Milos Saranovic hosted members of the FK Partizan Task Force Group, Rasim Ljajic and Milka Forcan, who talked about current club matters including organizational structure, everyday challenges and priorities for the future of the club.
“Only someone utterly malicious can say little or nothing was done, or to be disgruntled with what has been done over these difficult times, in an ambience and state of the affairs we encountered upon. You cannot change twenty players over one transfer window or to solve debt of 50 to 60 million Euros in just four months. But, we are proud to say we made truly significant steps forward in each of the segments we set as our goals upon our arrival”, said Rasim Ljajic.
Ljajic also underlined club`s debt has been reduced to 48,200,000 Euros while there are key processes of legal analysis and financial revisions taking place as we speak and FK Partizan successfully passed two UEFA monitoring, getting ready for the pivotal third one.
“The debt was between 53 and 60 million Euros because you have legal disputes with almost inevitable outcomes. We also have 2,500e of outstanding tax obligations on a daily basis. But, the debt now is 48,200,000e. Unfortunately, it`s not a final debt due to interest rates and eventual loss of legal cases. However, we paid three million Euros to different clubs, 2,2 million Euros to players and 1,2 million Euros towards various suppliers. This year, we will have 1,6 mil Euros less expenditure for wages. We passed two UEFA monitoring although people are not so interested in the paperwork but if we didn`t do it we would be kicked-out of the club easily. Now we need to do complete financial forensics as our priority is to get UEFA license by the end of March”, said Rasim Ljajic.
Rasim Ljajic and Milka Forcan also spoke about infrastructure projects at Partizan Stadium and training centre and they both underlined conditions improvement is paramount for the further development of the club.
“Basically, three-and-a-half months are a very short period. I know no one likes to hear how results of our work will be visible in a year or two, let`s be clear about it. But, we did as much as we could over this time span and it`s clear works are not only those you can see on the football field – who was signed or else. We work on infrastructure at Partizan Stadium and at Teleoptik training centre. It was all pretty much neglected but the improvements are already there – players are satisfied, dressing rooms have been renovated after 25 years while some other premises have not been worked on since the sixties. We will publish video clips regarding that matter soon”, said Milka Forcan.
