Beograd, Feb 15

Partizan achieved first win under new boss Srdjan Blagojevic, beating OFK Beograd 4-1 at home.

Blagojevic made two starting line-up changes – Roganovic was in for injured Filipovic while Natcho was back in the starting 11 at the expense of Vukotic.

Early pressure led to early Partizan lead! Kovac and Natcho did a good job to force a mistake from OFK defence, leaving Nikolic to calmly head the ball down for Kalulu who beat the goalkeeper from close range. Partizan 1, OFK Beograd 0.

Zubairu finished Partizan counter-attack on 10 with a 17m strike punched out by OFK keeper for a Partizan corner-kick.

Two mins later, Partizan was awarded penalty-kick after a handball inside the box from Momcilovic. Moreover, OFK player was sent-off for his offence. Natcho was typically clinical from the spot – Partizan 2, OFK Beograd 0.

On 21 and 22, Partizan had two more opportunities but lacked final touch, while on 25 Roganovic made a fine right side break to send a return ball for Natcho whose heart-of-the-box shot was met by excellent save from OFK keeper.

Jurcevic was booked on 26 for pulling down Lazar Jovanovic just outside the box.

After couple more missed opportunities, Partizan scored another on 36. Nikolic toyed with a keeper and defender to make it Partizan 3, OFK Beograd 0.

After the break, OFK looked more determined and the visitors were rewarded for their early second half effort with a penalty-kick on 49 after Scekic`s foul on Cvetkovic inside the box. Keeper Jovanovic saved the penalty-kick but it was to be repeated after the VAR review so Knezevic scored from the spot for a Partizan 3, OFK 1.

Alilovic came in for Kalulu on 53 for Zubairu to move onto the right flank and create a few opportunities – the best one on 64 for keeper to save his shot.

On 67, Vukotic and Ugresic came in for Natcho and Scekic while Zubairu picked up caution on 69.

Zubairu finally scored on 77, beating two defenders and smashing the ball into the net with his angled effort inside the box. Partizan 4, OFK Beograd 1.

One of five Partizan youngsters on the field, Alilovic, was close to score his first Partizan goal on 79 but his fine curling shot was saved by OFK keeper.

Blagojevic made final two subs on 80 – Djordje Jovanovic and  newcomer Dimoski came in for Nikolic and Jurcevic.

Just before the final whistle, keeper Jovanovic made a brilliant save to remind us what he is capable of.
